Abyssal Bloom Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy covers Abyssal Bloom (listed on the App Store as "Abyssal Bloom: Ocean Drift"), a game by Bear Poppa Studios LLC for iPhone, iPad and Android. Our studio-wide privacy policy covers this website and email with us.

The short version

Abyssal Bloom collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It has no ads, no analytics, no accounts and no sign-in, and it never sends information about you to us or to anyone else.

What the game keeps on your device

The game saves your settings, your progress and whether you have bought the full descent. These files stay on your device. We cannot see them, and deleting the game deletes them.

What the game does not do

• It shows no ads and does not use your device's advertising ID.
• It contains no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services.
• It has no accounts, chat, or ways to share content with other players.
• It does not ask for your location, camera, microphone, photos or contacts.
• It contains no links to websites and makes no network connections of its own.

The one-time purchase

The first zones are free. An optional one-time purchase opens the rest of the descent. Apple's App Store or Google Play handles that purchase from start to finish, and we never see your name or payment details. The store tells the game only whether the purchase has been made, so the deeper zones can open; that answer stays on your device. The store's own privacy policy covers the purchase itself.

Children

Abyssal Bloom is made for players of all ages, including children under 13. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. Purchases on a child's device go through the store's own parental controls, such as Ask to Buy on Apple devices and purchase approvals in Google Play and Family Link.

Your rights

We hold no personal information from the game, so there is nothing from it to access, correct or delete. If you email us about the game, our studio-wide privacy policy explains how we handle that email. Parents and players can ask us anything at privacy@bearpoppastudios.com.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Abyssal Bloom ever needs to collect any information, we will update this page and the game's store privacy details before that version is released, and change the "last updated" date above.
